Welcome to SingVoice’ website (“Site”).  Please read the following Site Terms and Conditions carefully before using this Site and the Services afforded herein. If you are not comfortable with any of these Terms, we would advise you not to provide any data, fill any forms, click on any links, and clear your browser’s cache.

In this Terms, the words “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to SingPop Music Limited, and for the purpose of clarity, excludes any corporate partners, government agencies, and individuals featured in this website.

Data Protection Policy

1.1  Privacy and Data Protection is of utmost importance to our organization. The information you provided as part of the application procedure will be used by the Organiser and its working partners as an assessment to qualify you as an Entrant for the Programme. If you are an Entrant to the program, this information may be used in connection with the production and promotion in areas of the Programme.

1.2    By participating in the Programme, you agree to appear in any video, audio, promotional content created in the course of the Programme.

1.3    The Organiser shall comply with all its obligations under PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) at its own cost.

1.4    The Organiser shall only process, use or disclose the Entrant’s personal Data collected, and at any other circumstances:

(a)       strictly for the purpose of qualifying assessment for the Programme, marketing and promoting the Entrants, publishing the Entrant’s creative work, and any other necessary procedures in the course of the Programme;

(b)       grant its working partners the right to access the data for the same purpose;

(b)       with the Entrant’s prior documented consent;

(c)       when required by law or an order of the court, but shall notify the Entrant as soon as practicable before complying with such law or order of court at its own cost.

1.5    The Organiser and its working partners shall not transfer the Entrant’s Personal Data to a place outside Singapore without the Entrant’s prior written consent. If the Entrant provides consent, the Organiser and its working partners shall provide a written undertaking to the Entrant that the Entrant’s Personal Data transferred outside Singapore will be protected at a standard that is comparable to that under the PDPA. If the Organiser transfers Entrant’s Personal Data to any third party overseas, the Organiser shall procure the same written undertaking from such third party.

1.6    The Organiser shall protect Entrant’s Personal Data in the Organiser’s control or possession by making reasonable security arrangements to prevent:

(a)       unauthorized or accidental access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, destruction, of Entrant’s personal data, or other similar risks,

(b)       the loss of any storage medium or device on which personal data is stored.

The security arrangements include:

(a)       storage of personal data consolidated in our cloud server under 128bit encrypted password protection,

(b)       standard backup using cloud services that are also likewise 128bit encrypted password protection,

(c)       separation of personal data from the creative works to only be shared with the Panel for evaluating the quality of the creative works,

(d)      access to the personal data is only limited to data security personnel trained in data management,

(e)       regular updating of computer security updates to prevent unauthorized access.

1.7    The Organiser will provide the Entrant with access to his or her own personal data as soon as practical upon the Entrant’s written request.

1.8    Where the Entrant provides the Organiser with personal data, the entrant shall ensure that the data is accurate and complete.

1.9    The Organiser shall not retain any disqualified Entrant’s personal data or any documents or records containing it beyond the duration of the Programme. All copies of the data and its derivative shall be destroyed, and any third party holding the data in whole or in part shall also be instructed to delete it.

1.10  The Organiser shall immediately notify the Entrant when it becomes aware of a breach of any of its obligation stipulated.

Access to SingVoice Website

2.1  The accessibility of our website relies on technologies, web traffic and bandwidth conditions outside of our control. We are not able to guarantee continuous accessibility or uninterrupted operation of our website.

2.2  We cannot be responsible for any losses or inconvenience caused due to any mechanical failures, including but not limited to the incomplete submission of entry forms.

Information Reliability

3.1  We put utmost attention on programme information provided, and aim towards accuracy and currency. For the purpose of clarifying ambiguities, or checking for changes, we encourage users to contact us through our website.

3.2  We shall not be held responsible for information provided by third party persons, including but not excluded to authors of social media posts aggregated on our platform. However, we encourage users to reach out to us if any third party messages contain claims potentially offensive, libellous or malicious.

Intellectual Property

4.1  No substantial material from this Site shall be reproduced, republished, uploaded, transmitted or otherwise distributed in any way, without our written consent. Users may cite extracts and provide the Site’s addresses for social distribution, observing fair-use attribution where appropriate. Graphics and images on this Site are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or appropriated in any manner without prior written consent.

4.2  Modification of any of the materials or use of any of the materials for any other purpose will be a violation of Singapore’s copyright and other intellectual property rights.

4.3  You may not decompile, reverse-engineer or disassemble partially or completely this Site, nor create derivative works with materials from this site. Any unauthorized use of the website or the materials thereon is strictly prohibited.

Privacy

5.1  The information provided about yourself as part of the application procedure will be used as an assessment for the Programme. If you are successful, this information may be used in connection with the production and promotion of the Programme.

5.2  Such use of information covers the verification of your age and identity and to carry out necessary background checks.  To the extent any personal data is shared with our working partners, the respective privacy policies shall apply.

5.3  If you have any questions regarding our use of your personal information or if you would like to update your information because your details have changed; or if you have any particular concerns with how your personal data is used, please contact us.

5.4 If you withdraw your consent to any or all use of your Personal Data, depending on the nature of your request, we may not be in a position to administer any contractual relationship in place, which in turn may also result in the termination of any agreements, and your being in breach of your contractual obligations or undertakings. The Organiser legal rights and remedies in such events are expressly reserved.

Cookie Policy

6.1 A cookie is a small piece of information that is placed on your computer when you visit certain websites. The cookies placed by the servers hosting our websites are readable only by us, and cookies cannot access, read or modify any other data on an electric device, nor does it capture any data which allows us to identify you individually. All web-browsers offer the option to refuse any cookie, and if you refuse our cookie then we do not gather any information on that visitor.

6.2 When you browse our websites, or use our applications and/or digital services, you generally do so anonymously but please see the section below on cookies. We do not, at our websites, applications and digital services, automatically collect Personal Data unless you provide such information or login with your account credentials.

6.3 If you provide us with any Personal Data relating to a third party (e.g. information of your spouse, children, parents, and/or employees), by submitting such information to us, you represent and warrant to us that you have obtained the consent of the third party to provide us with their Personal Data for the respective purposes.

6.4 You should ensure that all Personal Data submitted to us is complete, accurate, true and correct. Failure on your part to do so may result in our inability to provide you with the products and services you have requested.

6.5 Should you wish to disable the cookies associated with these browsers, you may do so by changing the setting on your browser. However, you may not be able to enter certain part(s) of our websites.
